Happy 20th Anniversary, HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS

Twenty years ago today, HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS was released to the world.  It was the first entry that Dimension Films was in charge of.  The film attempted to make some sort of sense out of some of the oddities from HALLOWEEN 5: THE REVENGE OF MICHAEL MYERS.  Love it or hate it, H6 does exist -- in two forms, actually -- and officially!

This year saw the long-awaited release of the HALLOWEEN 6 PRODUCER'S CUT!

In many regards, H6 is believed to be the last "true" HALLOWEEN movie -- casting a realistic look and feel for the season.  And I agree.  H20 took place in California, not just filmed there, but TOOK PLACE THERE.  And RESURRECTION was just a damn joke.

So here's to HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS, everyone's favorite bastard step-child!  Happy twentieth anniversary!

  1. Awesome. This month, I am FINALLY going to get to see what all the hubbub is about over the Producer's Cut. Have watched the theatrical version many, many (too many?) times, so will be interesting to see the differences.
